Excerpt: "Dr. Frank Shallenberger"-"The $50. cure for skin cancer."

"with spring officially starting this week, a lot of people are ready to get outside into the sunshine. But I hear a lot more concern during this time of year about skin cancer.  In fact, I received the following letter from Ronald K. in Indianapolis, In: "Dr. Shallenberger, what about skin cancer on the forehead--are theere any natural enemies?"  Here is my response to Ronald:  "I'm going to assume that you have basal cell cancer.  These are the most common.  And I have a great remedy for them that incredibly well (and it may work for other skin cancers as well).  Basal cell cancers are very responsive to specific topical herbal treatments.  The best one goes by various names including Compound X, Cowboy Salve, Black Salve, Healing Time Salve, or Indian Salve.  "All of these herbal preparations are combinations of the herb bloodroot and zinc...."... "With spring in the air, it's time to get out and enjoy the sun.  Don't use sunscreens and don't get sunburned.  They both can cause problems."... (and, I made 20 "one-minute treatment" trips of some distance for the same thing! jhm)
"Healthier Talk "Healthier Talk Digest" - "The habit that could have your IQ points dropping like flies!  They say that smoking is one of the leading causes of statistics.  Can't argue with that.  And now there are some new numbes to add to that already overflowing mountain.  I'm talking about your IQ.  According to research cming out of Sheba Medical Center in Israel, smokers have lower IQ's than non-smokers.  Not only that...the more a person smokes, the lower his IQ.  The study in the journal Addiction, concluded that smokers who smoked a pack or more a day have, on the average, IQ scores of 7.5 points lower than non-smokers.  Researchers looked at smoking habits of over 20,200, 18 year old male Israeli military recruits.  They found that the smokers had significantly lower IQ scores. The average IQ  for the non-smokes was 101.  Smokers who had started prior to entering the military, averaged 94.  Not only that.  A deeper look at the data shows that as the number of cigarettes being smoked went up, the IQ went down.  Smokers who smoked one to five cigarettes a day averaged around 98 IQ.  That number dropped to 90 for smokers who puffed away on more than a pack a day." (Fortunately, I experienced a strict childhood, "Don't even think about it!" or, "WHAM!' - The original NL are available after a 90 day holding period. Contact me if you want one.)
